Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 6, 2026
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly: name, email address, and account credentials when you register. When you make a purchase, payment information is processed by Paddle (paddle.com), our Merchant of Record — we do not store any of your payment details. Paddle may collect additional information as described in their privacy policy. We also automatically collect technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited through standard server logs.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide and maintain the Service; process transactions and deliver purchased products; send transactional emails (purchase confirmations, password resets, email verification); respond to support requests; detect and prevent fraud or abuse; and improve the Service. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Third-Party Services
We use third-party services to operate the platform. Paddle (paddle.com) acts as our Merchant of Record and handles all payment processing, invoicing, and sales tax — see Paddle’s privacy policy at paddle.com/legal/privacy for details on how they handle your data. We also use database hosting and transactional email delivery services. OAuth login (Google, GitHub, Discord) shares only your basic profile information with us.
4. Cookies & Tracking
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. These are strictly necessary for the Service to function. We do not use third-party advertising trackers or sell data to ad networks.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and secure session tokens. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Breach Notification
In the event of a data breach that compromises your personal information, we will notify affected users via email within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach. The notification will include the nature of the breach, what data was affected, and steps we are taking to address it.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data (name, email, credentials, profile information) within 30 days. Anonymized purchase records (order ID, amount, date) may be retained for tax compliance and legal obligations, but will no longer be linked to your identity.
8. Your Rights
You may: access and update your personal information through your account settings; request a copy of the data we hold about you; request deletion of your account and associated data; and opt out of non-essential communications. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@sudosell.com. We will respond to requests within 30 days.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or a prominent notice on the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
11. Contact
